I feel that this year there has been a greater awareness of issues around the world. Whether that has been with the Black Lives Matter movement, climate issues or even just looking out for each other in these hard times by, for example, doing a neighbour’s shopping if they weren’t able to do so themselves. My prayer would be that this continues on a greater scale; that each of us would look up out of the box of our own little worlds and begin to recognise more the needs of others and of the world around us.
